Mosaic Expert Search — connector docs

Search Mosaic Research Management's expert network from inside your AI assistant: bios, work histories, and Mosaic's vetting write-ups, distilled into a shortlist of the people worth a call. It's a remote MCP connector — read-only, and available to Mosaic clients.

What you need

Connect it

https://mcp.mosaicrm.com

In Claude

  1. Open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
  2. Paste the URL above and confirm.
  3. Sign in with your Mosaic client-portal email and password when prompted.

In ChatGPT

  1. In Settings → Connectors, add a connector using the URL above.
  2. Complete the Mosaic sign-in when prompted.

Authentication is OAuth 2.1 — you sign in on Mosaic's own page; your assistant never sees your password.

Staying signed in

You sign in once. Your assistant keeps the connection alive on its own — you won't be asked for your password again unless you go 30 days without using the connector, or your Mosaic access changes (for example, if your portal account or AI expert search is turned off).

What you can do

search_experts — keyword search across expert profile summaries, with optional company / title filters.
get_expert_profile — full profile for one expert: work history plus Mosaic's bio/vetting write-ups.
get_expert_applications — the expert's individual vetting summaries in full.

Example prompts

Tip: run several searches with different phrasings and synonyms — each is cheap, and coverage improves. Use quotes for exact phrases (e.g. "revenue cycle management").

Profiles never include contact details. When you find someone you'd like to speak with, give your Mosaic team the expert's name and ID and they'll arrange the call.
